The Semi-Finals on Dancing with the Stars

Posted on: May 17, 2011

Last night’s semi-finals showed that all the stars came to compete despite some setbacks. Hines Ward’s partner Kym fell earlier in the week and hurt her neck but they were both out there dancing the Argentine Tango, Salsa and Cha Cha Cha. I think the judges felt sorry for them because they were the only couple to receive perfect scores of 30 for both of their dances. However, the judges didn’t award them the bonus points for the Cha Cha Cha. They gave it to Chelsea and Mark.

So I’m confused, they tell Hines that he was dancing perfectly but then turn around and give Chelsea the bonus points for the winner take all Cha Cha Cha. Do you think the judges have their favorites? I think so. Don’t get me wrong, Chelsea is an awesome dancer and should be in the finals next week along with Hines Ward. But if you tell one star how perfect his dancing was you would think that it would continue on to a winner take all dance.

Kirstie Alley and Ralph Macchio were the two lowest scores of the night. Ralph doesn’t look like he may make it to the finals next week. This is unbelievable, that Kirstie may make it to the finals. Who would have thought she would last this long. But she is doing well and should be in the finals. But everyone knows that the real competition is between Hines and Chelsea.

Loved Brooke Burke’s dress last night, it was a shiny beige long dress that was glittery all over. Tonight’s pre-show will have some of the former winners performing on the show to get everyone ready for the Results show.

My prediction for the finals next week is Chelsea, Hines and Kirstie.

Ralph won’t be there.
