Is this a political move or is Michelle Obama just a fan?

Posted on: November 11, 2011

According to an article by Katie Pavlich of Town Hall, Michelle Obama and Jill Biden are planning to attend the NASCAR Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. Florida as you know is one of the most critical presidential battlegrounds for Obama.

Both Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will serve as Grand Marshals. The NASCAR appearance is billed as part of the first lady’s “Joining Forces” initiative for military families.  Is this a move to woo NASCAR voters and show them that Michelle is just a regular gal who loves to watch NASCAR? Or is this just pure political maneuvering?

What do you think?

My opinion is that Michelle Obama is only proud of America when she and her husband are getting the “goodies” from this country. I say she is a fair-weather patriot and not a true patriot. But as you know in a year there is a Presidential election and I’m sure she wants her husband to win so she can stay on the “gravy train.”

So I think NASCAR fans will see this as pure political posturing because they really don’t believe that she is “into” a lot of patriotism,
pride for America, massive burning of fossil fuels, American food (burgers, beer, and brats) and flying the American flag.

LOL I’m 100% positive Michelle is NOT a fan of NASCAR.

Well, there isn’t too much difference between that and a president or vice president throwing out pitches when they aren’t baseball fans.

However, Michelle has a nasty habit of wearing $500 sneakers, and multiple thousands of dollar jewelry in public, even when mingling with the filthy unwashed at Target. Now she’s doing it with the commoners at NASCAR.

The truth is there are far more conservatives and independants than there are liberals. The conservatives aren’t voting Democrat any time soon, but the independants might. And right now Ind.’s are none too happy with this administration. She needs to show that “I’m just like you hillbillies, vote for my husband!”
